Новонароджені багато сплять. Але кількість сну дітей може сильно відрізнятись. Фахівці відзначають, що новонароджені можуть спати від 11 годин до 19 годин щодня, залежно від їхнього темпераменту.
У батьків і опікунів часто виникають питання про сон малюка. Їм може бути корисно дізнатись про режим сну новонароджених і про те, як змінюється потреба у сні, коли дитина стає старшою. Також може бути корисно розглянути способи зробити середовище для сну новонародженого максимально безпечним, одночасно створюючи основу для хороших звичок до сну в дитинстві.
